Be Still And Know

Psalm 46:10 (WEB)

“Be still, and know that I am God.”

Today, that feels especially meaningful.

There’s movement happening.

There’s uncertainty.

There’s pressure to make the right steps.

And there’s still a part of me that wants clear answers right now.

But this verse is a reminder that faith isn’t only about moving forward.

Sometimes it’s about becoming still enough to remember who God is while everything around us still feels unsettled.

I can prepare.

I can show up.

I can take the next step.

But I do not have to carry the full weight of the outcome.

When I don’t know exactly what comes next, I can still be still enough to remember who does.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Help me be still in the middle of uncertainty.

When I feel pressure, remind me that You are still God.

Teach me to prepare faithfully, trust You deeply, and not let fear or urgency control my heart.

Thank You for being with me in every step, even when I don’t yet know what comes next.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
